POSITION PURPOSE / SUMMARY STATEMENT (defines the major functions/purpose of the position):
The DC Facilities Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of services and processes that ensure the
Byhalia Distribution Center has the most suitable working environment for the employees and their
activities. The incumbent will work with the Facilities Manager to identify best practices to ensure the
distribution center performs to maximum efficiency. Other responsibilities include supervision of
building and grounds maintenance, department procurement, site safety, and assisting the Facilities
Manager with planning central services such as security and environmental health.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES (include titles of positions directly reporting to this position):
Maintenance Technicians and Facilities Technicians reports to the Maintenance Supervisor
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
Interacts with all levels throughout organization including employees and outside vendors.
